We are looking at booking a Caribbean holiday for next year,anyone have a favourite place? We are thinking Jamaica or Cuba but having not been to that part of the world we'd love to hear any suggestions from you lovely fabbers  |

I was in Mexico on the riviera Maya last month which was lovely but really humid (it’s in the jungle). Cuba was really good in every respect, the ABC islands are also pretty fantastic and well outside of the hurricane zone, a lot drier and hotter but beautiful colourful buildings and a great climate. Going to Dominican Republic early October so not sure what to expect but looks good according to the brochure. Mostly staying at the resort apart from offshore marlin/game fishing so doubt I’ll have much of an idea of what the island is like on this one  |
