"Has anyone changed their mind since last week?
They might. I'm still waiting for all the love for the black country accents. I may be waiting some time.."
I’ve expressed love for that accent and Brum (I know they’re different) a few times. But I didn’t think either of you had that accent. Just lived there. |

It changes a lot. Right now I'm really fond of a gravelly, non-specific accent that's kind of middle class but not yah-ing. Sort that sounds like they've had many late nights fucking and chain smoking so their vocal chords are a bit fucked. It's mainly the voice for me. |

"Anything but Yorkshire
All of the Yorkshires? They're all different.
North Yorkshire
Only because it's mine.
Mine too "
Actually, that's not true. I lost it years ago. |

We don't. I have a non-descript accent so people can't tell I'm local. And he's Scottish. I just like seeing who likes the local accent out of curiosity |

Unfortunately for me, I have a broad cockney accent. You'd be surprised at how negatively people react to it. A lot of people associate it with being stupid or a thug and I'm very far from those things. I've worked hard to try and lose it but I've never quite succeeded.
When I watched Peter Jackson's Lord of the Rings, I was surprised at how many of the orcs sounded like my friends and members of my family. |

You still have that slight burr that comes out occasionally (UTB aherm). I love it. Find the courage and send a voice note! |

Just looked at your profile. Why do all the really good ones always live so far away? |

I, too, have a boring RP accent, but I do find American women like it.
Dublin is lovely - so too Old Town Edinburgh (Miss Jean Brodie accent, I somethimes think of it as). French,Italian too. And anything posh and husky - think Sibella in Kind Hearts. |

I'm Scottish (Glasgow) but lived in England so it's mellowed a little
Love the northern accent around Bury towards Halifax (spicific I know)
The Bristol twang and Cornwall but the one that drives me crazy with lust is hampshire
Around portsmouth/Gosport I adore the accent there. |
