before I get started, this is just a general question, not trying to get any toxic feedback or drilled for being a single guy and moaning about this and that. This is a general curiosity question.
Now that's been said and done.
How many Single Females and Couples actually go onto the Meets, Events section of FAB to actually seek Males?
As a straight male, I don't go there looking for other males, but noticed today there are a lot that are on the meets list in my area. So begs the question.. |

If I am looking for a meet then I am on there otherwise it’s planned meets only
and it should be used by all would cut down on loads off meet now message
As people who are looking to meet now are there
Have there been times I got up and ready and thought do you know what “4 latter bad word day” and fly the meet now flag yes

Nope.
Mainly for one reason.
Experience has shown that many profiles use it as pretty much their sole mechanism for lookingnfor meets. They post one every day they're free.
Every. Single. Day
It shows in your local updates feed and comes across as a combination of lazy and desperate. Almost a 'throw a huge net out and see what you catch' approach, rather than actually being more targeted and approaching individual profiles.
We only generally look if we're off to a club to see if anyone interesting is going.
We have used it ourselves many moons ago but wouldn't rely on it much as an effective tool these days because, as others have said, they're no filters attached to target a specific audience.

fair point, I hadn't looked at it like that. I know I 'throw the net out' but I like to think (at least personally) that if i ever have requests from those i do put up, i'll be selective. |

Not really, but it's the same for us with couples and lone ladies. We don't tend to use fab for meets. We are very much club swingers and swingers of opportunity when we're out. We don't really do premeditated meets. Generally (as never say never) we'd either use the meets section to see who's going to a club we're attending or if we were out and really in the mood for some optimistic filth. However optimistic very rarely works so last minute and we tend find ourselves corrupting vanilla people first anyways  |

Not lucky for me because I'd never meet any of them. I don't use the search facility and don't send messages.
Any meets I have are the product of weeks and even months of chatting. |
