So I have a random question for teachers and teacher assistants (both men and women)
So I was watching some porn the other night featuring a certain British porn star, who’s short bio read that she used to be a secondary school, after retiring from being a teacher she made the switch to her new current profession being porn actress and is doing very well.
So now your all up to speed, let me set the scenario/ ask my question.
So the year is 2011, it’s the last day of term for the year 11s, an after this it’s off to college or work, etc fast forward 11 years, it’s 2022 your on Fab and a 26ish year old man or woman, contacts you saying that they really like how you sound on your profile, loves your pics and would love to get to know you and hopefully meet.
You look at there profile like how they sound and also like there pics and you think to yourself, yes I’d like to have some fun, yes I mean have sex lol.
After talking to them before meeting, you realise that you taught them in school all them years ago, now the question could/would you be still happy to have that kinky sex you both was talking about doing with each?
On the flipside, if you saw your old maths teacher on Fab and realised it, would you still want to meet them?
And please don’t be horrid to each other, this is just a light hearted question.

Right, this happened to me a few weeks ago on Facebook dating.
Short version: was matched with someone and after looking more carefully at his photos I thought it was someone I'd helped be assessed for the SEN dept, 20 years ago.
Wasn't sure so asked him a couple of questions and it was him.
I explained who I was and he thanked me for getting him the help he needed.
We chatted a little and then I felt I had to let him know nothing would happen between us.
He was a little disappointed, but it is definitely a no no for me.

One of my old teachers had a similar terrible understanding of boundaries and when I was 20/21 ended up in some pretty shitty situations at her house.
Basically, I’d say, as someone that works with young people and worked in a school, that you shouldn’t cross that line. Not sure if after a certain age you’re allowed to interact with them and stuff without it being a safeguarding issue but I’d still stay well clear.
I’m only 25 and young people I mentored are oldest 20/21 and that’s why on here and on dating apps my minimum age limit is 22/23. Because I’m not cool with getting into situations like these.

I am on friendly terms with adults who have now graduated uni and who I taught as 18+ year olds. But I wouldn't go near any of them in a sexual sense. We occasionally meet for coffee to discuss PhDs, Parkruns and current affairs in science. There might be cake or even lunch. That's it. |

Context matters. It's the same when we hear that out parents and grandparents enjoy sex.....
We are horrified ! We sort of knew they did it but talk about it to them ? Behave..
Same sort of thing , someone you knew as someone else will always be that someone else. It'd take a lot of water under a lot of bridges until you saw the difference in them. |

Also- For me, the context of meeting them and getting to know them as someone under age and someone that I was in a position of care over is the bit that would be hard to overcome.
