I’ve now Googled this. And I think it’s something about doing something stupid so it can be recorded and people will laugh at you.

Give it 20 years and you’ll be us. I was you, 25 years ago … on the cutting edge of dial up internet where a web page would take 5 minutes to load. My parents thought it was some kind of sorcery the likes of which they couldn’t get their heads around!
