Ironing is very electricity intensive. I save the planet by not ironing anything

You have to do the ironing, I love it something therapeutic about it.

I never iron, think I am allergic to it, however M irons lots and now does mine too - win win!

He also cleans loads! I have literally won the lottery.

My mum ironed everything.....

Even towels and underwear

So now I am the opposite and actually try to only buy things that don't need ironed wherever I can

Same. It put me off ironing for life, because she often delegated it to me

My grandmother did this - I followed in my mother's footsteps doing the opposite, only ironing what absolutely must be (which is practically nothing)

It’s a no brainer.

Don’t do it. Save yourself a load of time, to do more fun stuff with. And save yourself a few quid by having no iron switched on.

Result.

It's not very polite to call Granny a huge pile

Cleaners clean, get a cleaner and send the ironing off to be done. It’s not the 70’s any more Granny!

What is this iron of which you all speak.

I’m not familiar with a lot of modern technology.
