Is it wise to jump under someone to get over someone? Or should you take your time?
Also what is a rebound relationship?
Aaaaand? How long is the standard time between breaking up and getting in bed with the next person to actually call it a rebound? A week? A month? Is 6minths down the line after a 3yr rocky relationship classed as a rebound?
Just interested in opinions |

Relate suggest that it takes a year to get over a long term relationship and, whilst not suggesting don't have fun, say it's best to give yourself time between relationships. If you jump in too quickly then the baggage from the old relationship comes into your new one! |

Yes and no
Yes if you can separate emshoins and stuff and just have a good time
Get under 3-4-5-6-7 different people
No if you can’t as you probably will not make the best choices and your flag system could be a bit off and maybe not regester something till it’s to late

It depends how it went down.
If it was volatile, perhaps some introspection is due, rather than completely blaming the other person.
I find if that's the case, then having your own time and solitude is a positive thing & perhaps helpful in breaking a pattern. |

"Yes if you can do so with no emotional entanglement at all. Otherwise it will just feel like another breakup"
No emotion is impossible for me. I cry when I have a coffee. Either with tears of joy or because of shear sadness. |

So I should have hooked up with a new birds a few year ago. Brilliant, so even my best rebound days have been and gone |

"I think so yes.
Do you like going on top?
That seems like effort.
We can swap when you get bored.
So, after about 5seconds? "
Sure. If that’s how long it takes you to read a paragraph from your book. (I didn’t expect you to be looking at me you see…) |

My last relationship ended about 2 years ago.
Still haven't got over her and still struggle to fully move on.
In terms of finding something new and fun, getting back in the saddle. We'll its not through lack of trying, it just hasn't happened yet |

I couldn't even think about other guys for a full year after my LTR ended. My ex started dating after 3 weeks.
We're all different. I'm glad I spent the time exploring why it ended and being alone. |

This was me too! Didn’t start going on dates until almost a year after and I’d say it was a good 15 months before I felt fully over him! |

It’s not my most proud line if I’m being honest, it was early |

A rebound relationship is getting into a new relationship when you really still want to be in the ex relationship but can't for whatever reason.
That's different from just banging someone. |
