Do people think maybe Fab should have shut site down even if just for 48 hours as a mark of respect for the Queen passing ? Im not a royalist by any means but it is a national event caused by a death to the queen |

No and it's getting silly now. We all have the time to show respect on the day of the funeral, until then the country should carry on as normal. For a woman who's motto in life was the show must go on, there's a hell of a lot of people who want the world to stop. |

No because by that logic all social media sites and websites where people interact with each other would have been shut down.
If individuals feel it is not appropriate to comment on social media or site's like this during this time they can make that decision. |

Absolutely not! I think we need a balance between doing what is right and showing respect but we do that in our own way
It's easy to say it needs Shutting down but what about people who use social media (yes Fab is social media) platforms to connect with others, for some who live alone it might only be the way they interact with the world, and shutting it down could have a detrimental affect on people's health and wellbeing.

Oh absolutely they should! There's no T.V. There's no footy. There's no horse racing. So why should there be any FAB ?
We should all just disappear up our own arse holes or stand in the cupboard for a whole week.
Respect ! costs nothing.
While we are at it.... No going shopping or to work or to the pub. |

People handle things and grief differently people should deal with this in there own way
I love the queen and her life should be celebrated
Over the last few few days I really respect the respect non royalists have given to a great lady who her gave her life to her people |

No. Not unless a wholesale shut down was mandated.
And even then I'd be saying no.
If people want to mourn, don't log on. Don't check Facebook. Don't go to the shops.
I don't really get why any of this is showing respect tbh. |

When I go I want people to have a ball, not hide in some darkened room. What will that achieve, apart from probably affecting people's mental health more than it's already been affected over the last few years?
Fab is an escapism for some and yes can be very supportive, so to suggest shutting it down even temporarily is ludicrous. We all grieve in our own way. Just don't log on if it affects you. |

I know they don't have to but maybe site admin could have put up their own status marking respect to the Queen's passing. Maybe on the day of her funeral? I always hope for the best x |

No, the world turns & life goes on.....
We all should have been given a free £1 bet to put on at the local bookies on the GG's if they were running? That was her passion. C'est la vie (It's life) |
