When it comes to live action Disney remakes that have come out over the past 10 to 20 years, the visuals are the only thing thats good while everything else is absolute crap.
The only remakes I like were the 90s remakes of 101 Dalmatians and Mighty Joe Young as they were updated to a modern setting with well written stories and more developed characters while being respectful to the original movies.
It's a pity Disney hasn't done anything like this since and just gave us nothing but crappy remakes just for the sake of making money from nostalgia. |

"The little mermaid is coming soon "
Along with a sequel to the crappy Lion King remake where it's Timon and Pumbaa telling the story of how Mufasa became king despite the fact that they never knew him.
There will also be remakes of Peter Pan and Snow White which I'm sure will be just as rubbish. |

I was disappointed with star rogue one, till the end of the film and the Star Wars theme played. Then I realised that is was deliberate thing not to play the theme until the start of the Star Wars films.

I havent watched any of them for this reason. Its not just Disney look at how many other have taken classic and remade again. |

"Haven't seen many of them as it's essentially the same story as the cartoons. I did like The Jungle Book one though."
I will admit, Mowgli wasn't as stupid as he was in the original and Shere Khan was more deadly and even kills a character in the remake. |
