We saw plenty of road kill in shropshire, poor little animals!! No we wouldn't pick it up but have known a few people that have

Not really I would rather have worm free meet that will taste as I want it to and is easy to cook. I know lots like to live off the land but there in no real appeal here.

in a previous job i collected a squashed squirrel and placed it in the bosses desk draw with the animals head looking up and mouth open.

he really jumped and ran out of the office.

I saw a car hit and kill a hare once I stopt and picked it up. My Mrs cooked it and the staffys loved it..... In Turkey I keep looking for a boar to be hit.... Apparently if you hit it and pick it up you can get done for rustling..... Its ok if someone else hits it.

Whilst in Canada I hit and killed a spring buck I stopt and dragged it to the side of the road and took my knife out. My mate said what you doing you nutter I said Im getting a souvenir but I came to my sences when he said Id get done if found

Nah. I've stopped on the A9 and elsewhere to retrieve deer carcases dispatched by passing cars/ truck and salvaged the occasional badger mask for sale to sporran makers.
