Um... our honeymoon hotel room was a mini villa hut with windows open all around and a verandah wrapped around but far away enough from the other huts that no one could hear too much. It was on a private nature reserve so the beach and the wildlife were not going anywhere for 2 days...lol! In fact, I'm certain some of the wildlife stuck their head through the windows to peek at us going at it.
It didn't stink at all. It smelt like Madagascan Rosewood and Vanilla and the Sea. Absolute bliss. Lying in bed exhausted from fucking with my head on my ex's chest listening to the sound of his heartbeat and the waves while the sun set over the Mozambique Channel.
It was like something out of an Insta-story but no cameras, Just happiness.

Breakfast is a 2 hour affair
Lunch is 2 or 3 hours.
Afternoon Tea is 2 hours ( yes they made us afternoon tea in Madagacar odd but nice)
Dinner is 2 or 3 hours.
About 5 servers come along and lay it all out for you at the hotel dining table or if you want your verandah or inside your little villa hut and leave you to your naked eats.
This man hasn't lived!! Ok I get wanting to rush here, there and everywhere on holiday but a lot of my holidays are about rest, relaxation mindfulness and just enjoying simply being in the moment. If I'm with someone simply being is even better in the power of now. |
