I hate the cold and caught Covid last week so I had no choice but to put it on as I was shivering under three layers of bedding!!

It's back off again. I'm getting middle aged night sweats so I haven't had it on since March. Turns out these hot flashes are good for something after all!!

According to the hall thermometer it's a very pleasant 22c. Doors and windows open. I've not even thought about turning on the heating.

Oh OK I'm gonna pick your brains if that's OK.

I've been looking into these and wanted one for ages but I wondered whether maybe they were a bit too bulky to move around in. Would you mind sharing your thoughts and maybe a quick review pretty please.

It's close to being on. The thermostat is clicking on 21c, when it's 20c it'll be on for just a little.

Already? Are you kidding? With the energy prices as they are? I'll be layering up and only putting it on as a last resort / stop the house getting damp.

Nope not here. I still have windows open.

I am the woman who tricked her kids for 2 years into thinking the fire was on when really it was a flickering flame light. I went the whole hog and would put my hand in front of the fire and say "ooh that's nice". Then fling sofa blankets over everyone.

This year there is going to be a crayoned pic of a flame put on the fire instead of the electric flame and I will say "I am on a budget mind". I have already bought an additional sofa blanket so there's plenty for everyone.

I've got two different ones (neither is Oodie branded). One is quite bulky and the other is a little snugger. Both are fantastically warm and the big pocket on the front is great for carrying stuff. I can fit my iPad in mine.

They are well worth the money and will be very handy when it really gets cold

Nope, I'm dreading putting the heating on. Even worse is my mother in law is at home on her own all day and she feels the cold.

We still have the windows open at the moment.

Mine's not going on until November at the earliest. I may light the log burner in October, depending on how frivolous I feel.

Not yet. We still have fans on the go. Like a sauna in my house. Have great insulation for the winter but in the summer it’s too hot. At the mo it’s still very warm.

Not a chance.

It’s the only way I can stick it to the gas highway bandits. I shall try to refrain from buying their stuff as much as possible.
