I’d imagine it’ll be a gradual phase out similar to when the new notes came out. It probably won’t be until after the coronation which could be up to year away. |

It's more likely that Charlie money will be made and Lizzies only go out of circulation as it becomes older.
Eventually the new notes take over the old.
I recall coins with kings heads on ...... |

I looked into this yesterday and from what I understand new coins and notes will start being circulated within the next few weeks. Currency with the Queen on will still be legal tender until a certain date that hasn't been determined yet so it will be a gradual process. |

Oh yes. I hadn't thought of that.
Something tells me they will try to keep her there somehow, like as one of the figures on the back of a note as the longest-reigning monarch. |
