I have when I was 5 years old and she was opening a new wing at our local hospital. My mother was on the board at the hospital and because at the time I was a cute curly haired chubby 5 year old I was chosen to give flowers to the Queen. I was so nervous I actually went myself. |

Aww bless you!
I have. I was a similar age and was taken by a family member to one of the garden parties as he has attended a few. Apparantly she came out with a large jewel brooch and I asked ‘who’s the old lady with the egg on her jumper’.
Trust us!

"I was at event where the Queen opened a college for the blind..my son and his friend were allowed by her chauffeur to go and play in her queenmobile car ..with him supervising of course "
That's pretty cool.
I have to say I think announcement is going to be imminent. For some very strange reason Hugh Edwards keeps time checking on the BBC News. |

2 or 3 times purely due to dads job and where we were living at the time met a fair few of the other members of the royal family too including princess Diana before and after they married.
Worrying time for the family today, I’m not particularly a royalist but from a perspective of her being a much loved mother, grandmother and great grandmother I feel for them today. |

Yes on several occasions when I served in the forces.
When on the Royal Guard at Ballater, she frequently rode the grounds.
She would often ask how we were doing and what did we think the weather would be like.
That and the famous photo of us and our CO with his balls hanging out sitting next to her lol

I haven't met her personally, but I worked in a certain important civil service building where royals came around quite frequently. I have stood pretty close to the Queen, Prince Charles and Prince William and his good lady.
My brother has met Prince Charles. |

I was stood near The Strand, outside a Richer Sounds, on the phone to my mum. I was stood right next to the road and looked down at the car next to me, which contained the Queen, waiting at the lights! My mum was a bit shocked at my exclaimation over the phone! |

Met the queen on 3 separate I occasions and had the pleasure of a 3 minute conversation with her at one of the meetings. Forever remember that and forever cherish that moment. The same as my grandad had the pleasure of playing at the royal Albert hall Infront of the late Queen mother. God rest her soul.. |

My late father met her and shook her hand when she was visiting the Falklands war wounded at the Cambridge military hospital in Aldershot.
He always said it was one of his most treasured moments in his life.
