What’s everyone’s bad experiences on fab ?
Just had mine today new profile person definitely wasn’t the person in the pics the flat was something else stunk of green and dirt plaster and wall paper hanging off the wall no carpets cats and beer cans all over proper filthy and then a mattress with manky bedding on the floor. I told her it wasn’t for me and left. Her profile has now been deleted. |

Haven't really had any bad experiences apart from a couple of no shows, there was one woman who (trying to think of a way to put it with out sounding horrible!)...was abit stinky downstairs so couldn't bring myself to give her oral lol |

Had someone on here who I counted as a good friend, start up a new account and chose to pretend that they were stalking me for months for their own amusement.

A few years ago now. Met a guy in a bar. He was at least 20 years older than his pics on his profile.
Had a lemonade (he was late so I already had a drink) and then said I was going to head home - it was a purely social meet and I’d been very clear on that multiple times - and he got furious. He’d booked a hotel round the corner and demanded we go there.
When I tried to leave the table he grabbed me so hard he left bruises in several places. Thankfully the guy from behind the bar clocked it and came over. He walked me to the train station and said they’d keep the cctv in case I wanted to report the guy.
I reported him here but it was pointless. He’s still here. |

Then it just got worse, we'd literally just got dressed when her brother walked in, turns out she wasn't allowed visitors and was in some emergency supported housing because of a violent ex, if he'd have barged his way in only 1 min earlier we'd have all been naked.
Safe to say it wasn't a return meet.

Yeah that’s a great thing to have.
I learned never to arrive for a solo meet first as the ‘ask for Angela’ wasn’t useable for me because when he arrived he managed to place his chair in a way that meant I couldn’t leave the table without passing him. So I couldn’t get to the bar.
I also never meet in busy places now as well, because if it had been busy the staff wouldn’t have noticed.
Learned quite a few lessons.

I met a guy from here who had loads of verifications and was a stripper (so I was perhaps blinded from red flags by how gorgeous he was!)
Anyway I turned up and he was on a LOT of drugs. Sweating, dilated pupils, manic. Was angry that I didn’t join in and have some as well. Very first meet 5 years ago. Had 2 social meets with a woman and we then agreed to meet in an hotel a few weeks later.
After exchanging pleasantries she punched me in the face without warning. It was a wtf moment and I told her so and made to leave.

Nothing as bad as some of the stories above, but 2 instances come to mind.

We met a couple for a discreet social in a pub local to both parties.

Yet when I'm cautious organising one-on-one meets and explain why I get a barrage "I'm not like that" or "Stop judging all men".
It's also quite telling that when women have bad experiences with messages on here it's often a barrage of "Sort your message filters" rather than actually any pressure on blokes. It's very telling. |

Clubs are soooo much better. Even just to socialise. Can see what people are really like before deciding to take things further. A year ago I’d never been to one and now I much prefer meeting that way xx |

Yes, they are a lot of fun and they do feel safer.
I've only been 4 times, but they are a good way to get chatting to people in a safer environment. |

My worst experience was a woman from just outside Cardiff who sent a photo of me doing a stir fry in a guys thong into my company head office for the attention of the MD, and written on the back of it was, "This is what he is doing when he is supposed to be working." "Our 1st meet with a lady, we'd chatted a while, went to her place she opened the door and from pics I expected long blond hair, it was half staved off so that threw me slightly but no issue, anyways after the deed was done and we were chilling there was a noise, turned out there was a baby in another room I wasn't happy! It really doesn't happen to everyone ... I've been on and off here for years and never been stood up once! Never met a weirdo etc met lots where there hasn't been the right connection but still had a good social! I know many men about where I am who have mostly good stories too!

When I tried to leave the table he grabbed me so hard he left bruises in several places. Thankfully the guy from behind the bar clocked it and came over. He walked me to the train station and said they’d keep the cctv in case I wanted to report the guy.
I reported him here but it was pointless. He’s still here. "
