iPhone 14

So they announced it. Decided to buy after they got rid of that awful notch in previous models. Will be my first iPhone.

Favourite features from what I've seen are the camera, and the emergency satellite communication and crash detection (yes I know I will never use them but it's a safety feature other phones don't have).

What are your thoughts?

Overpriced and still years behind competition from Samsung Xiaomi Huawei and others.

Other phones do have crash detection actually just apple didn't

I always say to folks skip a generation with iPhones. I have a 12 Max Pro & when my upgrade comes round in October I’ll get the 14 Max Pro.

I like the design, but for me it’s more about security than anything else, something Apple is very heavy on.

But I am very tempted by the Samsung flip 4. But I don’t know about that hinge and the screen

The iPhone 14 seems like just another incremental update. I’m still on the 12 pro max and see no benefit to upgrading yet.
