......to collect an item you've found online?
Got my eye on a couple of left-handed guitars on eBay, looks like I'll be planning a road trip soon.
What have you got your eye on? And how far would you go to get it? |

Finding a good leftie doesn't happen every day - hopefully the trip will be worth it |

It'll be better than keep nicking the other half's and playing it upside down |

"I've travelled from Doncaster to Nottingham to pick up a *embarassed cough* boardgame.
But then I've travelled to London specifically for other "large items", more in keeping with this site. "
Yes, those speciality items can't exactly be left with the neighbours, can they? Lol |

I know you haven't asked for my opinion on the matter, but out of those I think you'd be best going with the Squires, for the money you get a pretty solid guitar, they're built to the same dimensions as the Fender, so aside from cheaper components and its country of origin there's little difference between them and Fender. I think Classic Vibe Squires are considered the best.
Best of luck with your choice, hope it goes well. |

Some things cost rather a lot to ship don't they?
Also if it's a delicate item, you might not want to entrust it to a courier. |

Does this mean we can expect your next video upload to be you strumming a few chords. |

Depends how much I want the guitar. I traveled about an hours drive away (2hr trip) for a epiphone les Paul Jr off eBay. A good price made it worthwhile. But that was when fuel wasn’t this price now. |

It's a stratocaster squier by fender, 2001 by the looks of the serial number. My amp is turning up in a couple of days so looking forward to seeing what it sounds like plugged in. |

I must admit I got lucky that not only was it a good price, but the guy I bought it from was literally just around the corner. Thought it was gonna go for silly money but managed to throw a cheeky bid in at the last minute |
