Nah, I reckon if it’s a hoover you’ll be fine. But if you’d said ‘Dyson’ I’d be worried. Those things are scary

Dabbled in it a few years ago, found it too much hassle, zwave & zigbee not playing together. Always seemed to be changing batteries. I still use Philips hue & smartthings but gave up onsensors, alexa and other voice activation. Things will have moved on, but it was all a bit clunky and definitely not plug in, play and forget.

I’ve got an Echo on every room, that’s as far as it goes.

So annoying when I’m away on holiday and ask Alexa for stuff (time, news, alarm etc) and she isn’t there
