when i open my car door, back passenger door, two very loud clicks happen, i never heard it before so its defo a new thing. have i broke the car door? |

there is a flat rod that goes in side the door as a check strap to stop the door opening to far, it needs some oil on it, but dont worry it is not broken
and doing no harm to the car

only joking im a mechanic at the moment dont get any jobs done cause after xmas all our garages are doing 40% off we in ireland presume u.k. will be same as our parent company are based in london |

if my boss knew i said this id be sacked in morning i done 3 full car services 2day @ 165euro each the maths dont add up to me i get 120euro a day and my boss says we losing money ?? |

its definately the support bar that ties the door to stop it opening too far . oil will quiten noise but not stop it . its nothindh to worry about just annoying |

Don't suppose it could be anything to do with the parking meter which is lodged in between the door and the body of the car ?
or even the parking attendant who was trying to issue the ticket as you sped off whilst his hand was still under your windscreen wiper ? |
