So when you have a social meet for the first time how do you like to break the ice or start the convo off, are you someone that goes straight in with the chat or are you quite cautious. Do you offer to buy a drink or have them ready |

Nothing ground breaking for me, no tricks or pick up lines up my sleeve, just a simple “how was your journey?” or something similarly inane just to open the conversation and see where it goes from there |

"I keep a folded up dick pic in my wallet for such situations. Slide is across the table and let it do the talking "
They always say if you can make them laugh you are most of the way there! |

"Good question, it can be a little difficult, not for me though I could talk for Wales, but Mr finds it hard, we tend to chat to people online beforehand this can help a little before a meet."
Sorry I should’ve explained I don’t mean a very spontaneous social even if you have been speaking a while. I also can talk a lot maybe too much at times haha |

I can talk the hind legs off a donkey, so breaking the ice is usually quite easy.
Ask them if they had a nice trip, if they need a wee before we set off that kind of thing.
I would never have drinks waiting for them due to the possibility of them being spiked.
Its always about making the person feel safe so they can relax. |

If it's hard work by that point I'd be worried.
I like to build that solid connection so that by the time you meet in the real, it's like catching up with a friend.
That you want to do unspeakable things with.
Perhaps.
Depending on the coffee they order.
Or how they eat cake.
That might ruin it.
Gins safer. |

"One lovely ice-breaker at a preliminary meet in a pub was the woman going off to the Ladies & on her return discreetly passing me her still warm knickers....."
Had you even said hello at that point? |

"By the time I'm happy to meet for a social, I've spoken to that person a considerable amount, so there is no awkwardness"
This totally. I spent months chatting to my fwb, pretty much daily, before we ever met. Come the social, it wasn't like meeting a stranger at all. |

"It's rare they are on time, so a quick crack about their watch being broken usually breaks the ice.. once they realise I'm joking "
No, not funny. I was 15 minutes late once. Right chain, wrong hotel.... |

Yeah a social at a venue, I just chat naturally as suggested. When meeting as a couple with a couple, the men and women get on respective gender talks... The boys talk football and women outfits, shoes, handbag...
The other ice breaker is initiating sex. I've found asking if they'd like to see the new underwear I bought especially for the meet, normally gets things thawing out nicely... |
