Well folks, after 10 (or more) relatively good years on here, the time has come for me to finally call it a day.
I just wanted to thank everyone I've previously met or conversed with, you made me continue on here despite the obvious fallacies of this place.
And to all you guys (and less so girls) who make this site an absolute cesspit at times, congrats, you've finally worn me down to point where I've thrown in the towel. Not so much from any actions towards myself personally, but the sheer weight of hassle, scams, threats, lack of respect, and general idiocy that sadly plagues this site far too often these days, has made it not worth my time.
So in short: have a good one folks, and guys - just lay off and let people try and enjoy this as best they can, it's supposed to be fun.

Thanks to all for the responses, if only the rest of the site was like this eh!
But no, as of in a few mins that's me done now, there will be no return or farewell tour I'm afraid. Been considering it for a while, and been weaning myself off here for a few months now - and quite frankly I don't have the desire or energy to build up my profile or verifications again in the future.
Not exactly at the shedding a tear stage, but this place was bad enough to begin with, and has only gone downhill since, 12 years on fab and 12 years of Tory rule intertwine rather nicely on that front.
Keep safe everyone, watch out for those red flags, and keep the block button busy.

Exhibit A right here, I knew someone would prove my point before too long...
Flounced is far from the reality, merely that this site is not really fit for purpose any longer (in my honest opinion). The fact that I tried to explain this in clear and concise terms, offering feedback, and being met with this kind of drivel, is a perfect example of exactly what I was referring to.
