Hiya,
Just a few thoughts..
-Stress can affect sleep. Are you stressed? Something on your mind?
-Do you make time to wind down before going to bed? Or are you watching tv/ reading/ on the computer etc? Perhaps you might need to allow your brain to switch off before going to bed.
-Is your room well ventilated? Dark? Quiet? Having a TV or mobile phone in your bedroom can prevent your brain relaxing.
-What Is your bedding like? Too hot? Too cold? 100% cotton sheets can be more breathable than poly-cotton.
-Is your matress comfortable? How long have you had it for? Does it need changing?
-Maybe consider your bedtime preparation. This might include stopping using electronic gadgets, having a bath, drinking warm milk or chamomile tea. Alcohol does not aid sleep.
-Some medication or medical problems can cause sleep disturbances. If your insomnia persists, maybe have a chat with your GP?
If you drive, please take care. Driving while sleepy can cause an accident, and you may be held liable through driving without sue care and attention.
Good luck. |
