Mary Portas sat a couple of rows behind me on a flight once, I helped her and her wife get their case's out of the overhead locker.
Didn't realise it was her until leaving the airport and see her going to the driver holding up her name |

Met Rick Wakeman several times, signing autographs post gig. Did see him once just before he went on stage as I was going to the bar U noticed him stood just behind the bar so I said "Good evening!" and we chatted for about 10 minutes about all sorts. He's a really nice friendly guy.
Was away on holiday, went into local supermarket for a few things. Queuing up at the checkout I was suddenly aware of a large looming shadow behind me. Turned round and it was Lemmy! Motorhead were playing a gig that night and he'd popped in for some cigs!
Met Phil Lynott round the back of Sheffield City Hall after a Thin Lizzy gig. Got his autograph, shook his hand and asked him what hecwas doing after the tour as the bass player had just left my band. He laughed and said sorry as they were due to tour Europe!

"I lived in the same building as Craig David for a year, I was 7 and he and my sister were 11, we used to all hang out together, he would sing Stevie wonder song's to us."
Was that in Southampton. He's probably the only famous person I know from there lol (other than Chris Packham who went to uni there) |

All I can really say respectfully for him it was in Wales though he did come from and return to Southampton. |

I saw Wayne Rooney at a supermarket when he was manager at Derby. I told him how cool it was to meet him in person, but I didn’t want to be a douche and bother him and ask him for photos or anything. He said, “Oh, like you’re doing now?” I was taken aback, and all I could say was “Huh?” but he kept cutting me off and going “huh? huh? huh?” and closing his hand shut in front of my face. I walked away and continued with my shopping, and I heard him chuckle as I walked off. When I came to pay for my stuff up front I saw him trying to walk out the doors with like fifteen Milky Ways in his hands without paying.
The girl at the counter was very nice about it and professional, and was like “Sir, you need to pay for those first.” At first he kept pretending to be tired and not hear her, but eventually turned back around and brought them to the counter.
When she took one of the bars and started scanning it multiple times, he stopped her and told her to scan them each individually “to prevent any electrical infetterence,” and then turned around and winked at me. I don’t even think that’s a word. After she scanned each bar and put them in a bag and started to say the price, he kept interrupting her by yawning really loudly. |

I was a bit pissed in the Virgin upper class lounge at T3 a few years ago talking to a rather attractive women. We had a few complimentary glasses of champagne, got talking about my job and why I was flying to Mumbai and her to Washington. She was interested in my role and industry and she worked in the entertainment industry. After 45 mins she said I must go my flight is being called, she got up and left and the bartender asked me. How long have you known Uma Thurman, I replied I don’t know Uma Thurman, he said you’ve just spent nearly an hour chatting with her. She was delightful, good fun and really down to earth and bloody gorgeous. My only memory prior to this was the Pulp Fiction character in the black Bob and amazing dance, not a tall slim blonde. It’s my favourite story |

"The only famous person I ever met is Warwick Davis. It was shortly after he finished filming Willow so a very, very long time ago.
"
I meet him. Not a nice person. Quite funny thought when his 10 year old son tried picking on my 3 year old daughter and she chased him and then started swinging him around holding his backpack |

Saw Debbie Mcgee outside M&S. Took me a little while to work out why I recognised her as she wasn't plastered in make up.
Also won a competition to meet Mr Bloom (from Cbeebies). He was lovely. Very warm in his costume. We have a family photo on the stairs where he's got his arm around my shoulder |

"Went to the MOBOs one year. Was standing next to Kelly Rowland and had a pee next to Dappy.
Met the A list and C list in one night."
Is Dappy’s pipe as big as legend suggests? |

I bumped into Owen Wilson while walking through Mayfair.
I was in full orange PPE, hard hat and glasses but still managed to get a picture with him. He seemed really low in mood so I offered him a beer. He declined because he had to go and get sorted to go on the Johnathan Ross show to promote zoo lander 2
I’m also friends with one of the bailiffs on can’t pay we’ll take it away… no one will be able to beat that! |

I've met/had a conversation with Tom Meighan twice, the first was while he was in Kasabian, the second time was after he'd left, both times were in the same place.
I've also met Deacon Blue backstage many years ago. |
