neither are in the least bit appealing. I have been into a Macdonalds twic in my life, both times in Amsterdam early on Sunday morning before heading to the airport. It was the only place open for breakfast.

Neither are exactly amazing quality, but from my experience, and for what I expect, McDonald's is better.
It's always been quick, cheap and consistent. Exactly what I want from a fast food restaurant.
I've not been to many BurgerKings.
Mainly in Oxford and at service stations, but they have all been a total mess and hard to eat. The tomato soaks the bread which breaks up, all the fillings fall out everywhere and occasionally they have just tasted nasty and needed throwing away.
They also seem to take ages to serve and cost a bloody fortune. If I'm going to accept that, then I may as well go to somewhere decent. |

But in all seriousness unless something has really went wrong at work and I've got no other option, I won't touch them any more. Went through a phase where I was just constantly eating at services due to work and the weight piled on! So now I won't touch a takeaway unless I've got no other option (unplanned night out for example where I've ran out of food in truck) |

They were both around when I was a kid and there were far less obese people then.
I'm not suggesting fast food is good for you but I'd think the obesity epidemic is a whole lot more complex than just a couple of burger joints.

I cooked lovely roast today slower cooker for the Beef joint homemade roasties not frozen and fresh veg. Cook all week but do enjoy the occasional Mc Ds doesn’t hurt to slob out sometimes. |
