personally I'd live off the interest, live fairly normally but get myself some extra treats now and then. stop worrying about financial problems, buy my dad his dream house, and help out those who I think deserve it especially those who have unfortunate starts to life through on fault of there own.
I'd also travel the world, and probably start up my own business. |

Bollocks to the passport, I'd buy a small private island somewhere warm and clear off there for a few months of peace. |

Personally Id travel
however as its in the states and they have a really really high tax on lottery wins, they wont see half of the money
Invest wisely and live off the interest
apart from the initial round the world 2 year trip |

I have difficulty imagining that amount of money and what it would be like.
Imagine the realisation that you never have to work again. That all your everyday financial problems cease to exist and, if you don't go mental, will never exist again. That you would actually have trouble spending that money in your lifetime.
The chance now that anyone you meet might only like you for the cash, that any ongoing family relationships will change.
Don't get me wrong, i'd like a win like that as much as anyone, but can't help thinking just how it would affect my entire life.
If you've started a business from scratch and it's grown over many years, your salary increasing until you get paid millions in salary and bonuses, then you understand the value of what you have and the work it took to get it. I feel that's a lot different from someone saying here's 30 million, off you go. That's going to fuck you up. |

A mate and I were chatting about winning the lottery a few years back and I asked him what he'd do if he won £20m and he replied, "I'd give the wife half and tell her to fuck off."
I then said, "but I thought you loved her?"
He said, "I do, but with that sort of money chicks would be throwing themselves at me and I wouldn't be able to say no and then the wife would take me to the cleaners. This way I get to keep half the cash."
I couldn't argue with either his logic or his honesty. |

with the moon n stars somewhere in gtr manc |
Help out my family first. Then my true friends. The odd charity, local hospices (maybe not the main stream ones in the public eye with adverts here there n everywhere).
Then buy a lovely house or two, couple of cars, travel in luxury to countries I've always wanted to see. Top of my list would be the nature reserve in kenya.
Then buy Michael Buble and Nick Knowles and keep them locked up to use whenever I pleased |
