"And chickpeas I think? So… balls.
Eggs too?
These are what I eat. "
Not quite vegetarian though are they? Eggs I mean.
Been plant based for a while
Avocado
Peanut butter
Cashews and the range of nuts
Porridge
Pulses and beans - yes you stink til you get used to it
Peas
Rice
Chia seeds
Vegetables obviously
Soy products including yoghurt
There's shed loads of options now unlike even ten years ago

Eggs are considered vegetarian, and milk but they aren't vegan. |

Tofu! Look up done recipes online. I didnt used to like it when I first tried, but over time Ive grown to love it!
There are lots of meat alternatives in supermarkets now that have lots of protein in them (although, they arent very healthy otherwise). Try the richmond sausages, Squeaky bean "chicken" pieces, quorn nuggests, most vegan sausage rolls, or whatever you see on the shelf that takes your fancy. Sone meat alternatives are better than others, so try a few until you find one you like.
Pulses and grains are good sources of protein, although you need to have both categories in your diet as they arent "complete" proteins by themselves: beans on toast, rice and lentil dahl etc...
Nuts, seeds.
And if you arent vegan: eggs! |

It would appear that opinion is split world wide on whether eggs are truly vegetarian or not. As I'm not vegan for ethical reasons I don't have any skin in the game but I just wouldn't have put them in the vegetarian basket...
There's a wealth of information just a Google away regarding every kind of nutrition and you never know - you might have fun buying, preparing, cooking and eating something new to you |

"Really? Eggs? Vegetarian? In that case so must chicken be as eggs are just unhatched chickens.
I don't get it an egg is just a dead bird foetus "
If you've ever gotten an egg with a dead bird foetus in it that's a bit of a rarity
It's just an unfertilised balloon of protein etc that the potential baby bird would have been nourished by |
