I’ve seen so many threads posted with questions aimed at ladies so I thought I’d even it out.
If there’s any questions you’d like the men of fab to answer then ask away |

No. I would love to see an insurmountable increase in questions for ladies.
As you were. |

'Tis a beautiful thing that you do here. I have loads of questions but the shock of finding a safe space to set my little Q's free has unfortunately caused a temporary 'shock block' and all I can access is a vacuum. Still, it's the thought that counts. |

Really depends on the wall you are trying to affix said shelf to and what load you are going to put on it. Quite a lot of walls are stud walls now so you would need special fixings for that. If your plaster on a brick wall is loose you are potentially in for a bit of fun getting a raw plug to hold. In the long run it might be cheaper to pay a pro - or maybe blow a pro whatever floats your budget
Sorry to downer the thread with boring technicalities |

In which case if you have good plaster then in theory all you need is a masonry drill bit slightly smaller than the raw plug that should come with the fixings with the shelf (buy one with correct fittings) and a drill - should use a hammer drill but you'll get away with just a cordless if that's all you've got. Spirit level would be useful so you don't put it up on the piss - if you don't have one try putting some water in a shot glass on it and judging it by eye.

Sorry to downer the thread with boring technicalities " good tip for this job,,, (for all walls) instead of buying rawl plugs, haveca length of timber and a Stanley knife and wood glue at the ready, measure and level the shelf, marke holes, remove shelf, drill holes, slice off some timber edges of different thickness and glue them up start adding to drill holes, keep adding until no more fit hammer them home cut excess flush with wall now the screws will catch them and expand the timber, if studded wall try cut these longer and push back the 2" glue the ends also. Dont hang the shelf here for a hour ir so. |

Gotta be honest, I'd always figure that the companies that make the blanks already have far more knowledge than I have, so I'd go with what they reckon and just source the best silicon carbide rings and a darn good reel seat and trust in that |

Are you having breakfast while pooping and brushing teeth in the shower? Do you put your clothes on on the way to the car/bus/train/bike etc to get to work or in front of the pc/laptop if WFH (ingenious - I must try it!)

"Why is it most men seem slightly obsessed with cock size/girth (generally a man's forum post) "
Most men are secretly hugely insecure about their cock size, it's probably partly down to porn but also because they've seen (or heard) so much in modern culture about how women love big cocks.
It's also the same reason so many men lie about their cock size. |
