"I don't think I can name one favourite song.

I like

Slip sliding away

Still crazy

Diamonds on the soles of her shoes

Under African skies

Sound of a train

The obvious child

And many, many more

It's good but not one of my favourites.

What about parsley, sage, rosemary and thyme?

You can't not appreciate that?

A good day ain’t got no rain.

A bad day’s when I lie in bed and think of things that might have been.

Genius

Love Simon and Garfunkel.

However.

A good few years back I was working in a car showroom in Earls Court.

We were doing their suspended ceiling.

Was there for two weeks.

The first week we had "The Four Seasons" on a constant loop.

My boss asked if they could please change the music.

The second week we had "Graceland" on loop..

I can't listen to either now..

"Rhythm of the saints "

A very underrated album and yet lyrically astounding

From the song Further to Fly

"There may come a time when I will lose you

Lose you as I lose my sight

Days falling backward into velvet nights

The open palm of desire, it wants everything, it wants everything

It wants the soil as soft as summer but with the strength to push like spring"

Gives me goosebumps every time

Bridge Over Troubled Water was one of my first album buys.

The Boxer is so good.

My mother disapproved of the lyrics to Cecilia. But this was a long time ago.

I once heard a Vietnam veteran say that when he heard the lyrics to that song he just knew that back home in America everything had changed. Specifically 'making love in afternoon with Cecilia up in my bedroom'

He's 80 now I think he's left it a bit late but never say never. Maybe one day he'll get a recording contract

Can people please stop starting threads where the title is just a celebrities name!

I always expect to find out they've died overnight.

Glad he's still breathing - a true ledge.
