Since they changed the section of the M5 by us there have been 10 fatalities and its only been "Smart" for about 18 months.
We all know the infrastructure can't cope with the volume of traffic but there must be a better solution. |

Where I live, the speed limit on the M4 motorway approaching London is no more than 60 since the introduction of the smart motorway, even when it's empty. It just seems like a covert means of reducing the speed limit.
It often drops to 40 because there may have been an incident a few hours before, which has since cleared up. |
