Well, Meteorological Autumn anyway!

Summer fans can cling on to the last few weeks of Astronomical Summer until the seasons change on 22nd September, after which it’s Autumn whichever way you look at it!

So, Fabsters, tell me what was the best thing you did in Summer 2022?

And what are you looking forwards to in Autumn?

Most people though would not wish for cold at the moment when they are trying to save on their energy bills.

Women in snug warm jumpers, with rosy cheeks and cute little bobble hats! One of the best things about Autumn

It's all about the grandsons for me! The youngest likes to be entertained all day by Mr tumble! You can clean the entire house and he wouldn't care if you left the room!!

The eldest is feral! Spent all summer in the pool!

Autumn brings snuggly nights, cwtched up all cosy

Autumnal colours are lovely. Take a long walk to enjoy nature and the freshness of the air (fresh, not cold as that's for winter and hopefully not too cold either), have a little stop and enjoy a drop from your flask or just come back and pour yourself a brandy or have a nice cup of tea and a slice of parkin

Don’t be so dismissive of summer! The good weather is supposed to last well into October!

Let's hope so

I hate the rain and the cold, everything is much nicer when it's warm and sunny

Autumn starts when I return from my summer holidays at the end of September and not before.

For me, best things of this summer was more garden improvements, umpteen bbq's, and lastly, the little nugget of gold I found while out on a panning trip.

Looking forward to starting University in a few weeks, and shooting season starting shortly

Normally I would feel a bit down at the passing of summer and onset of Autumn. Not this year as I’m off to France & Spain for most of September. Then Barbados for two weeks in December - yippee! Have to work hard in October & November though.
