Van just pulled out in front of me ' I was on him. I gestured my anxiety so he pulled up and got out.
Young aggressive he raged at me and threatened me through my open window.
Very alarming but reason to get a camera now. Shaken but not stirred. |

Time to get a Walther P99, Bonds gun of choice.
But seriously nowadays it better to avoid gesturing or blowing horn at these idiots and just let them get away. So many people on drugs or carrying weapons nowadays you don't know what they will do, its not worth it. But definitely get the dashcam. Otherwise its just your word against theirs if something does happen. |

I live down some narrow lanes in south Cumbria and there is rarely a week goes by when I don’t have to go out and pull a white van from one of the delivery companies out of a ditch I don’t mind doing it but it really annoys me when I get referred to as grandad |

You could have flipped him the finger though, or give the imaginary penis pleasuring gesture to him.
I find both are equally good options. |

Never a good idea to get involved in a road rage - not saying the OP did. What I am surprised about is how many people advise and/or love the dash cams. A total hate of mine. Intrusive and certainly make me uncomfortable, especially those at the back. We are increasingly having cams everywhere. Whilst of course we do need them in certain places, it's getting too much. I had neighbours who thought it was fine to have several cams pointing across other people's drives and doors, totally unacceptable. There were complaints and took them down or pointed them differently. |

I nearly had road rage this morning, on the M6, roadworks, 50MPH average speed cameras, set cruise control to 50MPH some young lady came belting up behind me flashing her lights and playing a tune on her horn, I pulled over at the first available gap in the traffic and she gave me a very unlady like gesture.
I realise some people struggle with the concept of average, but I so hope those cameras are working |

I had that several times and it's so annoying. Some people think its ok you taking the risk of getting a fine just because they don't want to observe the current restrictions. I am sorry but I won't risk it just because you are in a hurry. They do it even on normal cameras not just the average ones |

My car has cruise control and a speed limiter,I set the speed limiter to the road restrictions the amount of times I have been overtaken in 20 and 30 limits is unbelievable |

Lifes departure lounge NN9 Northamptonshire East not West MidlandsMidlands |
In my home county of Northamptonshire the police are running an operation called Operation Snap where drivers can send dashcam footage of bad driving to the police, If the footage shows an offence has been committed they will prosecute the offending driver. |

Hah this happened the other day in tesco, fella got right arsey in the car with the windows down, later saw us walking in and got ready for round 2.
Then he tilted his head as far back as he could, and looked all the way up to meet my shit eating grin, stopped mid stride with mouth open and swiftly turned away.
Fucking hilarious.
Hope he got his fuses, the tart.

The best way to deal with people with road rage is to approach their car, knock on the window, when they wind the window down take the keys out the ignition and throw them in a field. |

"Get a camera o/p. Never react to any situation on the road if it can be avoided. No gestures, flashing of lights etc.
"
I have seen some youtube videos that are compilations of drivers with dashcams. The people with dashcams seem to go looking for incidents and love to tell anyone they have an altercation with that they ARE ON DASHCAM!!
Be careful, those cams can change you |

I had my 84 year old mum in the car with me yesterday. Trying to join the motorway at one of the UK's busiest junctions I sighed at the van driver that wasn't being very helpful. Mum said "He's a dickhead". I must remember to try and curb my language in the car |

I enjoy causing a little road rage; had a fella get right up my arse gesturing to me to get a move on (i was doing 20 in 20 limit) so I pulled over and put my hazards on. Traffic coming the other way so he couldn't overtake me. Could see in my mirror that he was getting so impatient and angry it was brilliant. As soon as there was no traffic, I pulled off. Made him more late for work than he probably already was |

Several years ago I was cycling with mates when a post office van cut us up amd then stopped to argue about it.
While he was out the van his keys were grabbed and we took them to the local sorting office abd told them they'd find the van in the High Street causing traffic chaos.
Not big. Not clever. But still makes me chuckle how angry he was when he realised what we had done |
