You need to be very quick getting tickets when they go on general online sale! The yellow wall is amazing but I think it’s best to go in the seats so you have a view of it and can truly appreciate the scale!
Most people say Dortmund is a bit of a dump but I quite liked it - you also have the national football museum there opposite the station. |

Also, that whole region is awash with great sides, if you can’t get Dortmund tickets I’d give Schalke, Fortuna Düsseldorf, MSV Duisburg, Rot Weis Essen or Bochum a go.
German football is great fun with amazing atmosphere - you can stand on terraces and have a beer and a bratwurst!  |
