Who else suffer with these, anyone know any remedies, I can't take painkillers as allergic lights off tv off, took me 15 minutes to write this cheers in advance |

Fellow sufferers here. Sorry to hear you can’t take meds. Coffee and/or Coke work for us when we first get the signs. Try to sleep better and stay hydrated and work out what your triggers are. There are good support groups online. |

Mine last exactly 3 days.
I take pain killers, rub over the counter stuff on head like tiger balsm.
Sleep in dark room with no noise.
Try and find out what your triggers are.
Mine are stress,lack of sleep/water, uncooked cheese and coffee.

I have read good results from having your daith pierced. It's the little nodule on your ear , it's an acupuncture pressure point. ( easier to Google) than have me explain badly. Gently squeezing the area also helps. |

I used to get these ALOT. Once a month at least that took me out of the game. Throwing up, double vision and shaking and going back to bed with cold water towel on my head.
I changed my coffee drinking habits to Decaf. Took about two months of a constant dull ache but when that eventually died down.. I don't get them at the frequency or strength anymore.
Something I have also found helps is coldness.... Douse a facecloth in very cold water.. wring it out and place on your temples. I find that REALLY helps alot. |

Coffee for me, also chocolate and cheese. I was getting two migraines a day. Flashing lights, headaches, blurred vision. I stopped the coffee altogether and my migraines virtually stopped. So I increased the coffee again and the migraines came back. So rarely drink coffee now. Migraine free. |

Mine are brought on by stress. Although pain relief is a big part of handling mine, I also look for trigger points in my upper shoulders and up - particularly my occipital ridge. Relieving the knots there is one of the ways I stop the cascades of pain. (in addition to cold or heat therapy, sleep, no light) |

If the migraine has arrived, take Lysine to help relieve it.
I’ve found that I can keep mine at bay with regular magnesium supplements.
If one does hit though, 15 to 30 mins without being able to see straight is the norm provide I can get pills in me in time. Then it’s 48 hours before it’s gone. |

I have suffered for the last few years now. I think my triggers are work stress, laptop work, dehydration , red wine. Sometimes in Dubai I can literally get them weekly, they last 2-3 days.
I recently bought sumatriptan from a pharmacy , I got the 100s but split them in half, it’s like a miracle cure |

I've had them for several years and one so bad I ended up in hospital. So I've tried to indenting my triggers and also the warning signs. FWIW my triggers are stress, lack of sleep and bright sunshine. But knowing what your warning signs are helps a lot - means a 2 hour nap instead of a two day migraine.
I gradually notice things seem brighter or louder, I may get visual disturbances, my head is foggy, I'm short-tempered. Noticing what happens before you get the migraine helps more than medicating afterwards. Sumatriptan makes me feel horrendous. Painkillers don't help. Just staying away from screens, rest in a dark room. |

Mine are brought on by change in weather, really bad when thunderstorms due, & stress/ dehydration.
I do take meds but sometimes they don’t even touch it! Ice Cold face cloth (wet, ringed out & put in freezer) put over forehead is great help, & sometimes I have to force myself to drink 3 litres of water |

Had them since I was a teenager. I get cluster headaches that last for weeks too.
The only thing I've found that actually reduces them is regular yoga. If you get ones that start in your neck then it can really help. Bad posture and a feedback loop of tension in your whole body can put a lot of strain on your traps and trigger migraines.
Yoga with Adrienne helped more for preventing migraines than anything else Ive tried.
When I get a migraine though it's max doses of paracetamol and ibuprofen all day until I can about function in the evening |

Ohh yuk no answer for cures . Just had my 4th Pfizer jab and woke up with a sore arm and horrid eye flickering . Couldn’t stop it ! The painful sick migraine doesn’t seem to happen any more but eyes really sensitive to light and wouldn’t stop moving behind lids |

I chug red bull (other energy drinks are available) at the first sign, and that can often ward them off for me.
I got my daith pierced as I was at the end of my tether, but it didn't make a difference for me. I do love how it looks though. |

I was having roughly 2-3 migraines a month several years back. Doctors prescribed daily meds to take which have cut that down to 2-3 times a year, worked absolute wonders! Also learning your triggers and avoiding them helps a huge amount. |
