Newcastle and Gateshead

Since today is Notting Hill carnival day… I thought it would be good if we enlighten our “paler skinned “ friends with some proper carnival music to get them to dance… well.. what they consider dancing (don’t give them the disapproval look!)

So… you get 5 suggestions each.. and they can go look em up….

Arrow - long time! (Hot hot hot is soo overplayed!)

Soca boys - follow the leader

Sean Paul get busy

Chukka demus - bam bam

Shabba ranks - ting a ling

Throw in a few dances hall songs….. a couple of old school classics

Sweet love (the m beat version) … end it all with Gwen McRae - all this love I am giving or classic Diana Ross disco!!

Job done!!

I’m having a 90s weekend. Lots of simply red is getting my love at the moment. The stars album is just fabulous.

It’s not that deep.

Aylesbury

I just got back home after a 2 hour drive from the west mids. I had the entire discography of Brand New on shuffle.
