Think my favourite was Sofa King.
Their tag line was "Where the prices are Sofa King low!"
However any businesses that use a K instead of C can fuck right off. Looking at you Krazy Kuts and Karpet Kingdom!! |

"Death undertakers...right next door to the church of the resurrection "
Apparently the now famous The Body Shop opened its first branch in Brighton next to an Undertakers. It made the local news which catapulted it to fame. |

Not a shop.....but I followed a toilet hire company tanker (the ones that pump all the shit out) the other day that had "No stools left in this van overnight" on the side.
Made me chuckle....

"Used to be a famous lingerie shop in my home city called Gwenap…
Now that might be so naughty on face value, but the window displays were years ahead of the times, very explicit for the day…"
On Prinny Ave at the Botanic junction. And yep, those window displays were fantastic. |

"We have a shop called blue banana if I was them I'd be straight to the GUM clinic
I know a shop called that and I think they do clothing and piercings "
Yeah alternative clothing. They have few branches. I've gotten tshirts before. |

There is a convenience store near me which has a sign that says "BJ's Sweets & Tobacco" (note the apostrophe). I used to jokingly tell people I don't go there for the sweets or tobacco.
There is also a market area nearby named "Market Place". It has a fish and chip shop called "The Market Place". I've always thought they missed a pun and should have called it "The Market Plaice". |

Normally the barbers or hairdressers have strange names
But slightly changing the script for a moment I drove through nevada desert a few years ago a came across a restaurant called from your grill to ours
I asked for the menu and the waiter said
Did you actually knock an animal down on your drive to here Sir?
