Joy. Bank Holidays bring out the traveller folk, so aside from 2 of the regular families we have in who are well mannered, respectful and actually pay their bill, the rest will be the usual:
"there's a hair in my food, I'm not paying"
"There was glass in my mash, I'm not paying"
"There was a stone on my child's plate, I'm not paying"
"My steak was cooked wrong, I'm not paying"
"The gravy was too hot/too cold, I'm not paying"
With the noise level being so high and the mess being so gross we can't sit other people in the same area. The children wander round and disturb other diners, use their hands to grab food instead of utensils provided, wandering behind the bar, sometimes into the kitchen and it doesn't matter how many times you ask them to return to their table it falls on deaf ears because they're basically being ignored by the parents anyway. When you try to speak to the adults you get threatened. Yet calling the police makes the situation worse not better.
Nobody wants to work bank Holidays because they're so stressful and deflating due to this.

Booked bank holiday off thank goodness not back till 5 September spend today washing and peg out then cleaning
Then look for another job as old one not good never will be anymore
So a driving/security job  |
