Of course not, what you're advocating is socialism, the last place you're going to find it is in the Conservative Party.

I remember what utilities were like when they were publically owned.

Crap service with failing infrastructure and people moaning about the cost……..oh, hang on.

Not where we seem to be...

My local water supplier recently announced a hosepipe ban due to water shortages.

Also my local water supplier, water main leak, according to the water board engineer it's losing 27 litres of water every minute.

So far, its been 5 months since the leak was reported and the engineer attended.

Do the maths.

Have you seen the profits the these firms are making we all paying over the odds as it is .so why not take over the companies and run them for the people benefit . its funny how the Tory's and labour when in power find the money tree down the back of the sofa. The money there itsvabout using it wisely every thing I've said is a win win for all.

Exactly this...governments lose money when they run businesses which is why they privatise them. If they found people who could run them properly its a great idea.

I like the idea. But who is paying for all this?

Our taxes are very high already.

Maybe state owned utilities can do better with experience from historical failure.

We are all paying for it and we would all benefit from it. we are the state the problem is not how its who the people we got running the country forget why they are there .sadly same for all parties. So its just a thought of if I was running things CLP of the things I'd do .I'd also make sure that bj in the office were part of my perks .
