What’s on the menu tonight?

"Usual salad with a side of potatoes. Standard Saturday night dinner! Blackberries picked from my garden (soaked and frozen/thawed first) with ice cream to follow."
I have loads of blackberries in the garden been making crumbles myst freeze some! I do share them with the birds x |

I had airfryer chicken nuggets, microwaved veg in a bag, cucumber, tomatoes, and strawberries. Dessert was a rocket lolly. Basically just made a plate up for myself of what I was serving to the grandkids... Now followed by orange gin (none for the kids) |

Freezer has climbed the curtain and joined the choir invisible?
I hate wasting food so....
grilled fish x2
microwave lasagne x2
litre tub ice cream x2 with a bag of previously frozen mixed berries
meat potato pie x2
steak n kidney pudding x3
Not to be followed by the famous
"Wafer thin mint"..

Minced chicken (from Lidl), that's been cooking in the slow cooker all night. I crushed 2 vegetable oxo's and chopped spring onions to add to the meat as well as some parsley & mint.
I'll have mixed veg & mashed potato with it when it's ready & then all I have to do is add a chicken gravy thickener.
