Answers below, just a yes or a no or an explanation of your rationale if you prefer.
I get a bit miffed on the posts such as "say something positive about the person above" and similar.
Somebody posts something nice, and then a few more people join in. It's all good so far.
Then I add a nice comment and hope that the next person is going to join in and post something positive about me, which I have to admit, lifts my day just that little bit. It's a nice feeling!
But no, the next poster is someone who is commenting about a previous comment from like an hour ago or saying thanks for a comment that was previously made about them. (I don't mean when a number of people all post at the same time, I know that can happen and that's just bad luck if you get missed out).
That means my comment (and the chance to get that little lift) is now ignored.
So back to the question. When my little lift is turned into a little dip, am I just a big wet softy for being disappointed or not?

Hey Gbat.
You're a bit of a softie but I've noticed people do that quite often and I guess - you're human so of course you'll find it a bit irksome. Nothing wrong with that. Don't let it get you down too much though, remember it's a bunch of randy/sexually frustrated/people sat on the toilet having a crap.

But as others have said, it happens all the time.
Usually some hottie posted about 3 hours ago, and about 30 replies ago, but some chancer will compliment them and skip everyone in the meantime in the forlorn hope that they’ll get their dick wet with them.

People get skipped a lot on those threads, sometimes its on purpose but most the time it's just people being click happy. Don't take things to heart OP, you know who you are without validation from strangers on the internet. |
