I wont stop using mine but as I live in a an apartment with electric storage heating, I am thinking of toughing it out through winter without putting the heating on |

There is something about washing that has been dried on a line. Towels are a little rougher, shirts dry with less creases and bedding always smells wonderful and fresh. We do use the dryer when we have to but its always been a second choice. With the rise in energy costs, we will probably get the clothes horse from the loft and put it up somewhere where we don't have to see it lol. |

I normally try and avoid the tumble dryer in winter in my household. Mainly used for the emergency turn around of the kids school uniform and sports gear. I find putting the drying rack in front of the radiator works greats. However I intend on cutting my house temperature right down this winter (end of fix rate in September). So I don't know what impact that'll have on my ability to dry clothes inside? I use my washing line all the time in summer. But I am busy and away from the house a lot so the washing line is not practical for me when I can't predict the weather over the hours it takes to dry in winter.

We stopped using ours last winter when I realised how often it was on. Crazy expensive to use and shrinks the clothes aswell. Indoor airer and washing line. The clothes smell fresh as a bonus too. |

Have family back at home with young kiddos... The washer/tumble dryer never stop! Also utilise the line though, and the clothes horse. I run a dehumidifier so pop the clothes horse in whatever room it's on it and that works well |

We only use the drier in winter when it's impossible to dry things outside or there's not enough room inside. Our damp problems are probably party caused by drying washing indoors - there's 4 adults and child's worth of kit to wash and dry here |

Got a Bosch heat pump tumble dryer, it's pretty economical and saves me having damp clothes around the house, most clothes won't need to be ironed when they have been in there so I will save money on the ironing bill and the extra work, so yes. |
