I had an autograph book. I only collected friends and family though because the chances of me encountering anyone famous were pretty remote. One I remember very well was a nurse my mum knew she wrote,

2 ys u b
I c u r 2 ys 4 me.
In those pre text speak days it took 9 year old me a while to suss that one out  |

I wish I had kept my autograph book from years ago. My dad took us to celebrity golf tournaments and I had Bruce Forsyth, Ronnie Corbett, Sean Connery, Kenny Lynch and James Hunts autographs as well as many others. |
