As we are all on here, we all share a common interest (of being naughty individuals/couples!), I'm intrigues to see what people are into outside of fab..

I'm into travel (most pictures of mine are where I've been), sports, reading - true crime, world war II books, doing the three peaks, pubs quizzes...

What's everyone else into?!

Photography… I’m lucky enough to live in a beautiful part of the world.

My nerdy side is into Star Wars, marvel (films), DC (comics).

I’ve just started getting more active after contracting covid at the beginning of the pandemic, (which left me with reduced lung capacity and myocarditis) by taking up supping.

Its also a great way to unwind and relax. Very cathartic.

Fogey alert...I've got an allotment

Walking, wild swimming , homebrewing, canning both of which are to help with the harvest from the allotment.

Learned how to plait garlic the other...feel like I should get my boobs out now to stop eyes glazing over.

All sorts of crafts sewing, anything involving wool up to and including dressing fleeces and spinning my own yarn

I whittle...... it takes patience, effort and skill.

... it can take a long time to find the right thing to work on. Sometimes it looks perfect but it's just too tough to even get started on. Sometimes you hit the jackpot early .. it looks good and feels right but blimey, it always takes a lot of hard work (which is rewarding) and you generally need to use every tool you have to shape things. However, when you get it just right, time just whizzes by, you become one and the final product is amazing and something special.

Or was that just another dream ... a euphemistic representation of my life inside fab. Judging by the amount of time I spend on fab, I don't have time for a life outside..

.... ok, except for the mountain biking, canoeing, hill walking, water sports (non sexual), music, collecting and playing guitars (mostly badly), singing loudly when I think no one is listening.. oh... and avoiding speeding fines by driving faster than speed cameras can catch me.

P.S. oh bollocks - the last one didn't work.

I like tinkering and fixing broken machines and tools.

I make knives from broken files and scrap metal.

I play, repair and build guitars.

I enjoy wildlife and spending time in the countryside.

I read Haynes manuals for cars I don't own just in case....

Hobbies? I have always had a bit of a grasshopper mind and flit from one thing to another but have always enjoyed photography and more recently astrophotography, I'm an avid reader and collect rare books mainly history, nature and anything film related and the paranormal. I've also got a garage full of machinery oddly enough it's all to do with lapidary ,that's gem cutting, I saw posts on here about goldsmithing and jewellery making and found some old casting discs in an old shop in Hatton Garden some years back, they date from the 1920's and I'm really looking forward to having a go, there's a crucible for melting, a centrifugal casting machine, a bottle jack, Diamond saw, various sanding machines, lathes and drawers of hand tools and boxes of crystals.Needs a good look through and a bit of TLC on the large myford lathe but now I took early retirement the one thing that always stopped me pursuing my various interests was time? The thing that does concern me though is the huge electric bill.? Off to buy some copper and brass rods now to see if I can harness free energy.Lol, and if you got this far thank you, have a fab weekend.Paul xx

I have various voluntary roles in my local area. I also travel to do those voluntary roles too. Mostly at beer festivals in the planning and running of along side volunteering at them.

I taught myself crochet about 4 years ago from YouTube videos and have made a ton of blankets and a few random bits as gifts.

I like reading fantasy, currently almost finished the Eragon books again and next on my shelf is the Bridgerton ones.

When I get and mot on her again I'll be back out on my motorbike as much as possible.
