Beneficial effect is that it stops me having the screaming habdabs and wanting to take a machete to half the lunatic population of this island. As for the side effects on my sexual life, I'll let you know when I get a sexual life again. |

"I used to be on it and it was a real effort to ever finish sometimes. Made me look like a pro but it was so frustrating sometimes! "
Did you find that your ejaculation feeling was kinda 'stretched out'? |

When I started on sertraline i experienced the delay in ejaculation. BUT, I did have dry orgasms. Lots of them.
If that effect had stuck around I wouldn’t have stopped taking them. Maybe I’d not be quite so emotional about everything these days. I think I may have to restart. Can’t be welling up at the simplest things all the while. |

I was on Sertraline at one point. To be perfectly honest I felt very little effect. I'm on Venlafaxine now, which I've found far more effective.
I'm currently trying to wean myself off of antidepressants all together, I've been taking them for many years and it's going to take a longtime. |

I made the mistake of going cold turkey off venlafxine when I couldnt afford my prescription, the side effects were horrific, I completely lost the plot, the brain zaps knocked me sick and I looked leathered. |

It's important to come off of this stuff carefully because it can be quite dangerous. |

I had absolutely zero benefits when I was on sertraline. My libido plummeted and I got awful restless leg that made my insomnia much worse. Coming off it was like being electrocuted in the head every two minutes. |
