A Very Important Question that is in no way related to sexy times

Back of Nowhere and Beyond

If you went to a craft fair in August (for example this Saturday) or September...

Would you be interested in Christmas countdowns, decorations and stuff?

Also... would you disapprove if there were slightly "risque" items displayed, bearing in mind it is a family event.

Having a tough time trying to decide what to take to try n flog and the two halves of my brain are arguing.

Thanks all

Posh

(P.S. sorry there's no relation to sexy times here)

Agree - too early for Christmas but others will be selling so prob worthwhile!

Not sure about risqué stuff - depends on where you are but may raise eyebrows…

hiding from cock pics.

It's too early for Christmas stuff for me and I don't mind slightly riské offerings at family craft shows depending on how nsfw they are, for example I would think that corsets and sexy dress up clothes, stockings and stripper heels would be ok, but strap on dildos and vibrators not at all.

I'd buy Christmas stuff now.

I'll be looking out for gifts as soon as school goes back.

The risqué stuff I'd have to see to say if it should be away from little eyes.

Not too early for Christmas. Keep risqué items out of sight but maybe put a small sign up saying you have some X rated items please go to website or see leaflet.

I don’t think its too early for Christmas stuff, especially a craft fair where they don’t have a fixed shop and so you may never see them again (other than online)

Risque things, it depends on what it is. But again I wouldn’t be averse to them.

What I want to see are unique, bespoke gifts or items that I cannot find on amazon or the high street.

Not that exciting... I'm thinking frames with condoms in, pictures that feature lingerie, that kind of thing.

Although now I'm going to research how to make strap on dildos

I don't think it's too early, little gifts are a good idea because there are people who like to buy things if they see them rather than do a mad rush in December. That being said, I wouldn't go full festive. As far as the more risqué goes, if it's as I imagine and a craft fair in a village hall (love pottering around those), I'd avoid anything too suggestive. Quite often families attend and what with it being a bank holiday it will probably have more of a family feel. Definitely have little business cards with links to any online shops and then people can view it later.

Our local market has Christmas stuff and I'd definitely buy if it's something I liked, a little risque is good too

Christmas stuff is ok as plenty of people like to be organised and buy early. Plus you do buy things if it's a stall you'll not see regularly. Just as long as it's not all decorated for Christmas. That would annoy people.

As for risque, yes, maybe at the back, depending what it is. Kids, if they see frilly knickers in a frame for example, are probably just going to laugh, not get offended.

If I liked something I’d buy it regardless of the time of year.

That's always been my theory.

Now I'm worried people just won't like it
