Way over Yonder, that's where I'm bound

1. Mo Farah

2. Bradley Wiggins

3. Nicola Adams

I really want to put David Weir in but don't know who to drop.

I would have left Chris Hoy off this year.

Where have you been this year? I think all of them have managed to have a thread in their honour at some point this year. Quite a lot of them during July and August.

Good post.

My top 3 (mr)

Ellie simmonds

Mo Farrah

David Weir

Just my personal opinion, and sure many would disagree but all of them are heroes and achieved a thousand times more than i ever have or will.

Hats off to all British Athletes, especially the olympians for making our nation proud during a time of negativity

my 1,2,3 would be Bradley Wiggins, Mo Farrah, Andy Murray.....

I wanted to Find a way to get ian Poulter on the list... but in all honesty I can't drop one of those... my gut says if i was going to drop one it would have been sir Chris Hoy...

She went out targeting 3 golds and came back with one and a silver. Harsh but as there are already 3 cyclists in the 12 I don;t think she deserved to be in.

I think Wiggins will win. I would prefer Mo Farah to win though, without wanting to derail this thread I think culturally it would be fantastic if a Muslim Somalian asylum seeker won. For similar teasons of acceptance, while I doubt either will win it, I hope that either Weir or Simmons make the top 3.

Its all getting out of hand, the sports personality of the year used to be just a small part of the sports re_iew of the year, now it as been taken over by the personality aspect, why? we know little or nothing about the sports stars personalities, just their achievments,.Yes we should celebrate their great achievments,if we wwas too be giving them awards on their personaliy as we see them, then im sure old personality void mr murray wouldnt be on the list,

This year's achievements in British sport have been truely awe inspiring.

My choice is and based on not just sport but personality is:

1) Bradley Wiggins

2) Ellie Simmonds

3) Andy Murry

Who do I think the voters will go for:

1) Bradley Wiggins

2) Jess Ennis

3) Andy Murry

Titz Towers, North Notts

Andy Murray will never win it until he wins Wimbledon and when he wins that he will be a shoe in.

Unfortunately for him, no matter what else he may win, it is only Wimbledon that seems to count.

Other than that, Bradley Wiggins, by a nose.
