Mine is an Arts and Crafts house in the Lake District called Blackwell. The house, the views of Windermere, the history, the arts and crafts furniture. Most of all, the peace.

It’s in my home town… there’s a bench at the top of the mountain overlooking the estuary.
It’s one hell of a hike up there… but so beautiful and peaceful. |

Not all that North of North London |
About a mile from here there's an old church in the fields, no houses nearby but a footpath runs through it so it's really peaceful. The churchyard has some really old graves and some really quirky modern ones. Theres a bench with views over the graves and looking out across fields and a viaduct and gets sone beautiful sunsets.
And that's my favourite place on earth, I can sit for hours and enjoy the peace |

My bed room, that I have been carefully honing to perfection for the last twenty years, in accordance with advice given in research papers by the world's leading experts on sleep, sleep hygiene and sleep management.
The bed itself consists of seven carefully chosen layers; the room is dark, totally blacked-out, cool, well ventilated, and with significant external noise.
When I retire to bed early, I sleep perfectly and arise refreshed, ready to tackle the day's issues head-on!

A mill pond just outside of Tewkesbury. My Dad would take me fishing there when I was a kid. Weekends, summer evenings and when my parents asked me what I wanted to do for my birthday, I almost always said fishing with Dad. I don't really go fishing anymore and don't live near it, but I always try to get there a couple of times a year. I tell him how my life is going and how my two boys are doing. It's like a little reset for me |

Jamaica. All of it. I love it more than any place in the world and I hope to move out there inns day (probably earliest I can afford is in retirement or after inheritance but we move). |

Llyn y fan fach, was fascinated as a child about the lady of the lake. Never went until 3 years ago today, and it was as beautiful as I'd imagined. I didn't see the lady of the lake any of the times I've been though, well disappointed. |

My imagination, a Lego shop or a good restaurant.
I have travelled extensively, and there are very few places that I would want to return to. Its more about experiences for me, which includes going to new places. |

"Fountains Abbey
Oh that's not too far from me! It's beautiful.
I'm from Ripon, and its the one place I miss the most! Always have so much to do visiting family when I go back home that I never get a chance to go and enjoy it. My first grandchild is due soon so I'm looking forward to going home and taking him for a walk around there with my daughter xx"
I hope you get to do that. Sounds perfect |

"Anfield, home of LFC - especially when arriving early on a Saturday afternoon following a couple of libations and watching the warm-ups and soaking it up as the atmosphere builds.
To lose yourself in the atmosphere at its height is truly transcendent.
What's LFC?
Not much "

"To many
But….
Split in Croatia - just beautiful
Top of old man of coniston on a clear morning for a sunrise and a brew.
Yosemite National park breath taking.
But my favourite spit is the west coast of Scotland. The beach at Morar not far from the Jacobite memorial
Gosh you seem familiar!
I have family in Scotland - I need to see some more by the sound of it.
Thanks I was here previously same name "
Did you do a brilliant Halloween challenge? Or have I mistaken you for someone else. It sticks in my mind. |

Terrible place, hideous view- i suggest everyone should stay well away from it and form large crowds way off somewhere else- trust me, you don't want to go there- pebbles like razor blades and venomous sand snakes everywhere! |

There are places I have been that I return to, there are places that I won't return to, I haven't found the place I would love to stay forever.
In 1975 I heard a song that sums me up - I was Born to Run |

Too many favourite places, I suppose if I had to choose it'd be the deck of HMS Southwold sunk in action off Malta. The drama and history is laid out in spent shells everywhere |
