I had leftovers - part of a rustique grain baguette freshened up on the hob so outside is crispy again with Tomme de Brebis cheese and tomato.

I’m trying to be good and only throw food out if it can go in the composter.

I had Sun-dried and thyme tomato soup with wholemeal bread.

Note to all: A fish finger sandwich should always be white bread (preferably ready sliced) and with Heinz tomato ketchup!

Disagree should be salad cream on fish finger butty.(this is where I find out I'm the only weirdo that does this).

I don't like fish so a fish finger sandwich isn't appealing to me.

Having said that my lunch was completely boring, 4 dry cream crackers and a tiny bit of Cheddar. Then I had 2 Biscoff type biscuits with coffee for my sweet fix.

I do like salad cream. It does work with tuna instead of mayo. Perhaps I'll try a back to back test vs ketchup but I'm not expecting to change my mind.

Can't see the need for a sauce debate, lashings of full fat butter on the bread such that it melts and runs all over my fingers is fine for me
