Been stood up twice in the space of 7 days, I'm now feel like a complete tw@t.

If not interested then why not tell the person you don't wana meet, thats my view on it, whats everyone else's?

Sorry to hear you were stood up twice. It’s not fair to lead someone on and stand them up at an arranged meet. Sadly some don’t care about the other person.

Because the internet is impersonal, easier for people to ghost. Crappy but it’s a way of the times.

It’s happened to me. Guy said he was on his way and never showed. I had already met him previously so found it odd. Anyway we did get around to meeting again and then he arranged a further meet and once again never showed up lol.

I’ve given up now. It’s not nice when it happens.

Never take it personal that someone else is a cunt. Even if it happens a lot, it just means there’s a lot of cunts.

I happened to be once, someone on here is met twice was meant to come over and stay, she just never turned up , never messaged , then messaged the next day, no apology but said it was a crazy day and if I’m still interested she’s free later. I never replied , I never blocked her , I’ll never acknowledge her again, her loss.

I get stood up all the time normally at the last minute when you have traveled and it’s to late to cancel everything it happens so much on hear and hard to find a genuine person to meet

I’ve been stood up/cancelled on loads.

Don’t take it personally it’s them not you. I now always assume people won’t turn up and if they do it’s a bonus!

So was it bad luck and a coincidence… or had the communication lapsed, and the other parties felt no desire to pursue…?

Please report them op ,there is no need for this at all.

Some are just fantasists who get their kicks out if leading others on & some maybe men too.

Hope you're ok

Was it the same person, or different people?

It’s not nice. Sorry you’ve had to experience it.

Don’t make it about you though, it’s them. No cure for being a c*nt as they say in GoT.

Secret hideaway in the pennines

Been there, got the t-shirt.

Sadly it is one of the negative sides to fab and a regular occurrence for both men and women.

You just need to get used to the fact that real life gets in the way sometimes, or people get cold feet, or just plain change their minds.

It does make you wonder if there is something wrong width you, but don't let it get you down

Sucks!

Very much them not you.

I tend now to plan meets such that if they can’t make it I can get on with something else and I’m not somewhere where I feel I stick out like a sore thumb!

I do think you need to consider if they’re well verified, have you got to know them as well as poss here etc first as that tends to reduce - but not eliminate - the chances of this happening.

It happens all the time.... Or people arrange something then disappear! Really frustrating.
