Isn’t it just a less crude / more genteel way of saying “fucking” without offending the sensibilities of those who don’t like to swear, and less clinical than “copulating” |

"I'm not opposed to the word, I have used it myself.
There's so many words I don't like it's hard finding one that doesn't make me want to puke. "
Moist?
Gusset?
Or even moist gusset? |

"Sorry that came across pretty aggressive...what is it that you don't like about it?"
I dunno just sounds a bit childish. Makes me think of like, Monopoly or hide and seek.
I feel the same about "fun" tbh. Vile word. |

I went off piste, my lovely, replying to the specific post about there being many words that makes the fine lady want to puke, rather than the OPs original observation about the term “playing”. I think the correct phrase is “thread drift” |

You might have a point here!
I message woman asking if they’d like some fun and get nowhere.
I’m going to ask if they’d like some hate, some hateful sex and I’m not prepared to play…hate filled serious sex.

I've not the energy, time nor inclination to get upset over such trivial things as to what people call fucking. Far more important things to concern myself with. |

There should be so much more to an evening of fun and frolicking, not just sex. The term playning is very appropriate for what I do. I adore playing with every inch of a naked body, and have lots of toys and equipment that I enjoy playing with.
Would you also suggest we stop calling dildo's, butt plugs and vibrators sex "toys"? |

"What's up with grown adults referring to sex as "playing"?
Or is this just an "I'm not in on it so I obviously don't get it" kinda thing"
How would you prefer for it to be referred?
I personally think it's fine, I mean, we refer to plastic things we fuck as toys.

The term "playing " has been around for decades ...
It has simply been shortened from "playing the field " that term was around when I was in my youth ...

I did a little search for clarity, and found this ......
1) a dramatic composition or piece; drama.
2) a dramatic performance, as on the stage.
3) exercise or activity for amusement or recreation.
4) fun or jest, as opposed to seriousness.
There was more, but here it suggests it's a perfectly acceptable term, anyone thinking otherwise, that's on you. |

Aww fun is a nice word , but yeah using it when you mean sex is something I hate. Just say what you want don't try and simplify it ffs. |

Call ‘sexy sex’ Whatever you want op.
As long as I understand what someone means…
If someone asks do I want to play?… and they get there cards or dominoes out… I will blame Fabswingers for my miss understanding and unbuttoned pants. |

You're right, that energy is much better spent posting on threads about things you don't have the energy to care about |

Would be a pretty boring forum if it was just your opinion we had, wouldn't it |

To be fair, considering the state of my sex life at the moment this does sound really romantic |
