What do you take away for a week's holiday in the sun. Do you pack for something different for each day? Your day clothes, your pool clothes and your dinner clothes? Is it like seven of each? Hands up, I overdo it a bit

seven of each plus shorts, tee shirts, bikinis and several spares. Then enough underwear for if we're delayed or I want to change more than twice a day. I never knowingly travel light

Enough socks for every day, knowing that you will probably not wear any as it's too hot .... Pretty standard

Shangri-La

Depends. I try and do hand luggage only and take the basics and whatever I can fit in, which if you roll your clothes and not fold them can fit a fair but in. I did once wear 2 pairs of jeans, 1 jumper with another tied round my waist and a big coat I managed to get a shoe in each pocket, just so I didn't have to put luggage in the hold . I also now buy my toiletries when I get there instead of pissing around with all the decanting into tiny travel size clear bottles or pay twice as much for travel size.

if we stay somewhere in this country I take waaay to much stuff. Mr N encourages me by saying

"if it'll fit in the boot take it"

Yes day outfits, evening outfits, bikinis, about 100 pairs of underwear because you know just in case, even though most of the time I'm commando anyway so don't know why I bother

2 swimsuits, alternate. 2 nice evening dresses. A few tops, a few shorts, more undies than necessary. A light jacket incase it’s cold in the evening. Beach/pool towel. Water shoes, pool shoes and 1 pair of nice sandals and one pair of shoes suitable for walking in. The rest would be toiletries and other travel essentials. Also some travel wash so I can hand wash stuff if needed.

I hate packing so..for a week at he beach..one carry-on bag rule... (I'm not a pool person)..swimsuit bottoms double as underwear. My gold flipflops are my evening shoes. My travel shoes are my walking shoes. 7 pairs of socks. I rotate my beach wraps as skirts/dresses. Depending on the swimsuit I can wear it as a top to dinner. I take miniatures/dry solid versions of cosmetics and toiletries and mini makeup brushes. For hair I take three scarfs to wrap around my hair in different styles for dinner. I don't take an evening bag.

Whatever I can fit into a rucksack.

Couple pairs of shorts, a few tee shirts, enough underwear for a few days. Couple of towels.

I prefer to travel light and use laundry to clean stuff.

I can’t be doing with the whole ‘packing’ experience hell.
